I started dancing at 18 after years sitting in a chair as a trumpet player. So I really had to overcome my fears and doubts when it came to taking class. I didn’t have the luxury of a basic class, I had to just do it!

Looking back, that’s what helped me succeed and get me to Radio City Music Hall, The Metropolitan Opera, and off-Broadway’s Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish.

I couldn’t hold my self back with negative self-talk or worrying about every possible nuance of a step. Did I have those thoughts in my head? OF COURSE! But…

I just had to dance.

I’m trying to inspire actors and movers and dancers. It’s not as hard as it looks. Like a centipede who is asked what leg does he step with first and is suddenly paralyzed. We’re no different.

My goal is to first get you to MOVE and then we’ll make it better. Once I can instill the confidence in you that you are dancing, it’ll be much easier for us both to turn you into the dancer you’ve wanted to be!
