It’s been too long in the making…
After all these years…
All that money that you hate divesting each month…
to someone who no doubt treats you below your expectations….
the money that’s tossed away…
you can finally get something REAL good for it…
IT’S THE TIME TO GET POINTS FOR PAYING RENT!
To think of all the money that really was “tossed away” each month with nothing to show for it. Now you and I can finally earn points on the rent we pay, affording us the ability to take a vacation away from our apartments!
I think this is truly a revolutionary moment in the points games. Rent is probably your biggest expense every month (if it’s not, I’d like you to tell me what IS your biggest monthly expense). This means earning points just as big as your rent and doing it quickly, too. Earning points can be a detective effort, requiring time, careful planning and fine print. This speeds up the game. So unless your homeless or a couch surfer, this is pretty exciting.
I started using the card just last year when they introduced it in beta. Since then I’ve racked up about 20,000+ points. According to their 1:1 point transfer to airlines, I’m pretty close to having earned a round trip already.
There are no fees. Just points in return for the painful experience of paying your absentee landlord every 30 days. You still can’t get the repairs you wanted, but at least now you have a perk.
The only requirement is that you use the card 5 times each billing cycle to keep your points. A pretty small ask for such a quickly mounting reward.
The card is partnered with a number of large rental corporations that already accept credit cards. If I’m guessing correctly or you’re like me, you probably don’t live in one of those places. If you wanted to use a credit card to pay rent, you’d have to use a third-party service that charges a fee.
With Bilt, there’s no fee to use your credit card and you can use it with ANY landlord now who accepts checks.
This card embodies part of my philosophy on spending and getting rewarded for it. If you’re already spending it, get something in return! You don’t have to spend any more cash than you already are, but when you have expenses and necessities that you will 100% be purchasing, put it on a card and earn points! (if I could add clap emojis to that sentence, I would, but it’s overdone)
When you rack up points on your Bilt Rewards card, you can redeem them for: American Airlines, United Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines and even hotels like Hyatt and IHG.
When I say get in on this now, I mean it. If you want a better future or want to have some fun in the coming months, it starts with your preparation right now. Six months down the road, if you have time off from work you want to be ready to jump at the opportunity. I’m SO GRATEFUL for the smart decisions I made when it comes to money and travel back when I was just graduated. It’s paid me back exponentially now. I’m not worried about affording trips to India, Turkey, or Costa Rica and I’m adequately prepared for future upsets or future expenses.
An added benefit is that when you use the Bilt system for rent payments, you’re building a rental history through the credit bureau. This comes in handy down the line when you’re considering purchasing a home, or even just moving into another rental.
Apply to the Bilt Rewards card now through my little referral link, because I make no money on trying to make sure you stay rich! I appreciate it. The card itself is beautiful, too, and I loved it’s packaging!
